Automatic lens cutter machine LMF 530 cnc
The new lens cutter LMF 530 ver 2.0, is a high performance machine suitable for cutting lenses in organic material and with which it is possible to process from base 4 to base 12 (base 2 ophthalmic optional) all types of lenses in various materials (nylon, polycarbonate, methacrylate, CR39, etc.). The lens is clamped either by a lens clamping arm or by a vacuum generator. This guarantees a high cutting speed while maintaining an excellent quality of finish. The loading and unloading of the workpiece is performed by a motorised axis which not only makes the operation very fast but also allows the lens to be positioned in the most suitable way. Loading of the raw lens is carried out by means of high-capacity, easy-to-position interchangeable loaders. The finished lenses are placed on a conveyor belt already divided into left and right and not overlapping each other. The LMF 530 performs radial (inclined) holes and slots; it is also possible to perform them in interpolated mode, which can be programmed directly on board the machine. As always, corrections and modifications of the shape are possible from the machine thanks to a dedicated CAD software, which is intuitive and easy to use, as per our experience and tradition. The models can be imported or saved in the most common CAD formats. The machine is equipped with a high-frequency 24,000 Rpm electrospindle and the movements are made by brushless motors controlled by drives and latest generation CNC, all this to obtain an excellent quality of finish of the piece and at the same time a high productivity, up to 400 pieces per hour for P.C. lenses with one roughing pass and one finishing pass.
Automatic lens cutter machine LMF 510 cnc
The LMF 510 cnc has been designed for cutting lenses made of organic material. Starting from a self-learning of the shape from a sample template or from a DXF file generated by a CAD program, it is able to manage all the standard trimming bases (5-6-7-8-9-10-12) but also special trimming bases (ex: 6.1-6.2-6.3 etc...). Thanks to the dedicated and specific software we have created, the machine is able to vary the working cycle according to your needs (e.g.: only right lens working, only left lens working, alternating right and left cycle). With a simple integrated CAD program, the machine is able to carry out drilling and milling cycles on the lens, for example holes for the assembly rimless frames, for attaching the bridge or slots for applying embellishments or strass. The machine is equipped with an adjustable lens loader that allows fast and safe loading of the workpiece, thus reducing downtime and considerably speeding up execution. In fact, the LMF 510 cnc is capable of producing between 600 and 1,000 workpieces per hour, depending on the type of processing. The company also offers the possibility of producing customised loaders for the customer. Compared to the previous model (LMF500), the 510 offers new software, new control electronics, new axis motors and substantial mechanical modifications that make it considerably superior to the previous version, bringing it to the top of production and quality at a global level.
LMF 530 automatic unloader
The automatic lens unloader has been designed to be fitted as an optional extra on the LMF530 lens cutting machine. With this application, the lenses cut by the machine are automatically unloaded into the appropriate boxes.The unloader can accommodate two boxes and allows them to be removed/positioned in total safety while the machine is working by simply blocking the unloading operation until the side casing concerned is closed. Control and setting operations are fully integrated into the LMF530 software on dedicated screens.
F-C100 lens-template shape copier
Two-axis automatic copier to detect the shape of lenses and templates, it can export the processed data to DXF, DWG and IGS files compatible with the most common CAD software. The shape data are acquired via Bluetooth® communication from specific software supplied for installation on a PC.
Sharpening machine for milling cutters
This machine has been specially designed to sharpen the standard cutters used by the LMF 500 and LMF 510. The cutter is placed on the machine quickly and easily, the reference stop is adjustable to allow the sharpening of cutters with different clearance angles. The machine is equipped with a micrometer in order to be able to grind all cutters with the same precision; the machine carriage has to be moved manually and is mounted on very reliable and smooth-running hardened roller guides.
Polisher for lenses
The lens polishing machine is designed to carry out the edge polishing operation (flat or with bevel) of all types of lenses (CR-39, High Index, Polycarbonate, Glass). The method of loading the lens onto the machine is quick and easy and the pressure of the lens on the polishing pad is adjustable. The special drawer on the lower part of the machine simplifies cleaning operations, which would be complicated if one had to access the inside of the machine from the upper part.
Sharpening machine for milling cutters
This machine has been specially designed to sharpen the standard cutters used by the LMF 500, LMF 510 and LMF 540. The cutter is placed on the machine quickly and easily, the reference stops for the rake angles are already set to allow sharpening with greater precision. The machine is equipped with a micrometer so that identical sharpening can be carried out on all cutters; the machine carriage must be moved manually using a convenient knob.
